Have you ever wondered – what do I wear to a museum? The most important thing is to be comfortable! Last Sunday, I visited the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco, California.
I saw the Degas, Impressionism, and the Paris Millinery Trade exhibit. If you have the chance to see it, go! It’s amazing.
Degas, Impressionism, and the Paris Millinery Trade features approximately 40 Impressionist paintings and pastels, including key works by Degas—many never before exhibited in the United States—as well as those by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, Mary Cassatt, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and 40 exquisite examples of period hats. Must-see!!
Visiting museums usually means lots of walking, or standing, so I made sure to pick a comfortable outfit. The most important aspect is to wear comfortable shoes! These sandals from B.O.C. are cushioned and comfortable without sacrificing style.
The permanent collection at the Legion of Honor is exquisite as well. Water lilies – Monet? I’m there!
