Southerners tend to love big front porches, but the South also has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. The answer for this smart young couple was to screen in their big wrap around porch. They, like many other couples vary in their taste of colors and furnishings. Not a problem. They would divide the porch, one side for her and one for him. Each decorated their side to their liking and the results are stunning, bug free, and wonderfully inviting gathering place for family and friends. The center of the porch was left unscreened and adorned with a bench made by the homeowner and a birdhouse painted by their five year old son.
